Petersfield
is contained within the East Hampshire area of outstanding natural
beauty. The town centre is part of a special conservation area with
16th Century timber cottages, museum and folly market. You will
find a pretty spot on almost every corner.
Petersfield is also a
centre for culture and arts. The Petersfield Music Festival is the
second oldest of its kind in the country and attracts choirs from
all over East Hampshire and beyond. The well respected Petersfield
Orchestra stages concerts at the Festival Hall throughout the year.
For the more active, there are numerous parks and gardens such as the
Queen Elizabeth Country Park and the Bohunt Manor and Gardens, combining
stunning downlands with peaceful forests and calming waterside walks.
The Petersfield heath and pond is only 200m from the park and here
you can enjoy walking, boating, fishing or a quiet picnic.
The opportunities to take advantage of the unique location of Firs
Park are numerous.
